The natural landscape of California is so different from PA so it’s no wonder they thought of doing their anniversary photo shoot at one of the most unique deserts on earth: Joshua Tree National Park!
Their warm wedding colors matched with the perfect sunny weather and sand-colored stone really made it feel like a destination wedding in Tuscany, Spain, or France. To say it was magical is an understatement.
Whenever a couple reaches out with zero plan and an open, wild heart, I get super giddy inside. They had a dream of eloping with just their closest people and have an adventure-filled day. We planned the day around their favorite things about the island.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen a lot of florals, and I’ve worked with a LOT of florists. Flowers are my favorite thing ever. And since happy, natural, modern, and bright flowers make me so happy, I’ll focus on florists that KILL this look.
Their boho and moody elopement was the perfect match for their personalities, with some goofy and silly laughter in between dumb jokes too. These two are so fun to be around, not to mention GORGEOUS! I mean, look at them!!!
It is the #1 reason why my photos look so genuine and fun. It gives me great ideas on how to pose people naturally, get lots of movement, AND allow them to connect with each other in a meaningful way that gets great emotion out of it.
