Katie + Francisco met at UC Davis. He was an acro-yoga instructor and she had a crush on him from afar. They eventually got together, and now they are the perfect pair. They balance each other out -- he is adventurous with lofty ideals, while she is a focused realist. They did long distance while she studied in Ireland, and once they graduated, their relationship saw many more countries and seasons.

They lived together on a farm in Hawaii for a while, and eventually relocated back to the Bay area. During the pandemic he lost his job (and his visa), so he went to Spain and the UK for a bit. Their love grew and they eventually decided to secretly elope in 2020. They now live in SoCal and we were able to capture their engagement photos with a dramatic landscape they loved.

They’re the sweetest and most low-key, chill couple. They were down for anything and were happy to climb down to the water, get a bit wet, and stand on the edge of a cliff. It was so epic and beautiful that day!

I love me some cliffside and beach strolls. I had a great time exploring my new favorite San Diego photo shoot location! I’m dying to go back now!
