Pine Hill is a brand new venue in the middle of the mountains of apple country. It’s only 1 mile away from downtown Julian, which is a classic San Diego fall destination for apple picking, vintage antique shopping, gold mining, and their famous Apple pie!

This property used to be a hunting lodge and bar of Jack Dempsey, a famous American boxer from the 1920s. Now, it’s the perfect spot for a unique and non-traditional wedding. It’s got rustic, vintage, cabin vibes that transport you to simple time, but with all the glamour and conveniences of a modern venue!
With the outdoor ceremony lawn and indoor barn reception featuring a huge hanging chandelier, it’s one of my new favorite venues of SoCal. The bar inside the reception space is where Jack Dempsey used to serve his guests! Now, it’ll serve your friends and family while you’re partying on the dance floor. The matching groom room above the reception space is perfect for relaxing, sipping on a nice brandy, and playing pool. The bridal suite isn’t complete yet with the renovations, but it’s going to look so pretty when it’s done.
The inside of the Lodge and Tavern make you feel like you’re stepping back in time to the Wild West days of Southern California.
Also, yes, there are wild turkeys roaming the grounds. Your guests can rent the rooms above the Lodge for an entire weekend retreat too!

then getting ready right there
getting married under the tall pines and the warm sun
