On a beautiful and windy Maui day, we captured Kekoa + Kaila in their natural Maui state. They’re island locals who grew up on Maui and now have two adorable kids. We captured their love on a beach in Paia in the tall grasses before heading down to the water for a surfing shoot!
I absolutely love adventurous nature shoots like this, especially when people want to do something active like surf and play in the water! Unfortunately, the current was way too strong and the beach break too big to actually get in the water, but we made the most of it and got some incredible captures!!!
If I could take adventurous photos of couples on an island every day, I would not be mad 😉
