I met these two in college and fell in love with their joyful energy and kindness. They’re high school sweethearts, and their love is so PURE. I swear there’s not a sweeter couple out there!!!
I had the privilege of taking their engagement photos, then their wedding photos, and now their first maternity shoot! It’s the coolest thing ever when your friends-turn-clients and your clients-turn-friends!
Baby Paetyn Rae is on her way soon, so we captured Gracyn’s bump on one of my favorite beaches in Laguna, Orange County. Joseph came along to help her and also be in the photos! Gracyn was simply glowing.
When we arrived to the original location, the beach was closed! Luckily I knew about this beach just in case; it was close by and didn’t even waver our plans! The light was perfect, there was hardly anyone on the beach, and tide was low, so we could climb on all the rocks and get epic photos of them!
I loved hearing all about how their marriage is going and their plans for when their baby girl comes.
The coolest part of the day: Gracyn’s sister is a fashion designer and designed and sewed this one-of-a-kind dress just for her! It was SOOOO her. So whimsical, romantic, soft, and beautiful. I could not stop gushing about it! It caught the golden hour light beautifully and photographed so well. Now I just need one for myself 😛!
