Danielle and Andy met in Vegas 7 years ago at a Fourth of July pool party. Since meeting, they’ve done 2.5 years long distance before moving in together in San Diego. Their relationship has never taken a traditional path, so we wanted their engagement session to reflect that.
They took a weekend trip out to Vegas to meet me and do their session on the Strip outside the Flamingo hotel where they were staying, and over at the Neon Graveyard!
If you truly want the best of both worlds, I recommend doing photos on the strip near your hotel, then going to a cool location out in the desert or something like the Neon museum!
The Neon Graveyard/Museum is an outdoor space specifically designed for photos in mind!!! It features real vintage and modern Las Vegas neon signs from casinos, restaurants, etc! You just need to make sure you get a permit and go during golden hour! But it’s easy and incredible! We basically had the whole place to ourselves, which meant we could have fun, be loud, and be super comfy in front of the camera since no one was watching us!
Tip: If you’re someone who may not have taken professional photos before, having a more private and intimate photo shoot can to calm the nerves!
