Rainy Tropical Winter Disney Wedding | Grand Tradition Estate | Wedding Photographer

Erica and Aaron met in college diving and quickly fell into a deep reverence and love for each other. Erica is a type A (like me) sweetheart and vibrant personality. Aaron is her calm, gentle-hearted prince: a perfect balance. They are obsessed with Disney and cosplay (mostly Erica), so Aaron proposed to her in the most romantic and magical way: at the Snow White wishing well at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Instead of a first look, they opted for a sentimental vow-reading first touch. We all cried buckets, and continued to do so into the ceremony. Everything about the day was sentimental and special. Even the clouds agreed, as it was raining off and on the whole day.

Even though I know the were hoping for traditional sunny San Diego skies, the rain and clouds made their tropical venue feel even more like a dream world. The colors were vibrant and their coordinators worked super hard to make the day beautiful and feel smooth and effortless despite the change of plans.

Their whole wedding had elements of Disney magic, Christmas/winter burgundy and gold, and Jesus, which I’m all about! She DIYed literally everything too!

If you’re also a Disney lover and want to have elements of Disney at your wedding, take some inspo!

✨They had Mickey Mouse bubble blower wands instead of flower girl petals down the aisle (so cute!), Mickey Mouse ears florals at their ceremony, and instead of table numbers, the bride DIY’d some vintage Disney postcards from her favorite rides in the parks!

🧚Instead of traditional table numbers, they had framed vintage postcards from their favorite Disney rides!

🏰For the ceremony aisle, they had their florist design Mickey Mouse flower petals on the ground for a luxury and chic look.
