Pre-Quarantine Senior Session

My heart breaks for the Class of 2020 right now. I couldn’t imagine being in their shoes, and it must be so hard to miss things like prom, senior activities, graduation, sports games, and simply ending your schooling with a bang, surrounded by all your friends for the last time.

My sister is a senior in high school right now, and it’s so sad to see this happening in her life. She’s staying so strong and positive, despite everything. She’ll be going to NAU next year to become a teacher! She’s super excited about it, so I’m glad she has something to look forward to.

Even though this is a sad time for most, I am super grateful that some seniors were able to celebrate their last year by taking their senior photos. Hannah was one of those seniors who barely made it in time! We had no idea at the time that we would get locked down in our homes and quarantined away from school. I’m just so glad we were able to do her portrait session in the nick of time!

Hannah is a senior at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego studying nursing, where she is going to serve the world beautifully and unapologetically! She’s got such a positive, spunky spirit, and I absolutely loved hanging out with her that night. It seemed like we talked and laughed the whole time, which made taking photos soooo easy and laid-back! We started at the Greek on PLNU’s campus, then went down to the school’s backyard, aka Sunset Cliffs, for the rest of the photos. She was such a natural in front of the camera; made my life so easy 😜😄! Congrats, Hannah!!!
