Hidden in the trees and hills of Marble Falls outside Austin, Texas is a quaint and cozy property with 4 luxury camping A Frame tents.
I drove through the most gorgeous fall colors to this hilltop overlooking Lake Travis to get there. This place is not your typical Airbnb! Each of these tents are unique (even a Christmas one for this December engagement shoot!), but are all super boho and cozy. They have firepits, lanterns, swinging hammocks, and an area to gather for a family vacation and games. But it’s cool that they’re also private and set on their own too. As someone who loves bougie glamping just as much as I love dirty camping in the middle of nowhere, this spot was SUPER cool IMO.
So the fact Valentina + Steve wanted their engagement session here was such a dream come true! Flying out to Texas was such a treat. One of the reasons why I love my job so much is being able to meet and photograph couples all over the world.
Valentina + Steve wanted a fun and intimate session all snuggled up together. This place was the perfect spot for it, especially since they love anything adventurous and camping! They fell in love on the second date (I KNOW RIGHT?!) and moved in together really quickly in Austin. She’s also a photographer and he runs a photo booth, so basically creative dream team (…soooo jealous haha!).
We captured them snuggling, staying warm (and hot hot hot) under the blankets, drinking coffee, and enjoying the scenery. It’s what true adventure couples sessions are all about! And of course, frolicking in the tall grasses on the property to catch the sunset. I’d say it was a pretty killer day. Scroll down to see some of my favorite moments!!!
