Gina, Gregg, Brooks, and Claire have made San Diego their classic vacation spot! Ever since Gina and Gregg spent their honeymoon here at the Hotel Del Coronado, they knew they had to come back with their kids!

While the kids are on spring break, they decided to take a trip to San Diego, where they thought it was the perfect time to capture their memories of their family at this stage. Gina had a good point, saying they never take family photos because the kids are older and there’s little time at home! But when they’re on vacation, it’s the perfect moment to get some photos taken. After all, it’s super important to have photos at each stage in life to look back on! Especially to remember the essence of a favorite vacation!

Although it is snowing in Idaho where they’re from, San Diego donned the perfect weather on this March day. I had a blast getting to know their family. They loved to laugh at each other and make the whole thing fun. Because we all know family photos can sometimes be stressful and awkward!!! But we all made it lighthearted and happy the whole time.

Especially the teens! They were goofing off and wrestling each other the whole time, which made for hilarious and fun photos all parents would love! Ahem… because it’s the REAL stuff. Totally genuine and joyful!!!

We started in the Coronado beach sand dunes, made our way down to the water, splashed in it of course, and then walked to the best area on the beach… the Hotel Del itself!

We had to take a classic California photo with the Hotel, the palm trees, and the blue lifeguard tower for good measure.
