Cari + Robert are the kind of people who make you feel like close friends as soon as you meet them. They’re loving, down to earth, and so so so kind.

And total desert rats. Most of their weekends with their friends include riding around in buggies and sand rails with dust flying in their face. The freaking good life stuff. They feel alive in the wide openness of the desert. So it only makes sense that they decided to do their engagement sesh & get married there.

I love it when couples pick non-traditional locations that are extensions of their own personalities. Making your wedding or elopement day all about “you” instead of what you think it “should” be, is when true magic and memories happen!

Your wedding/elopement doesn’t need to feel like a bridal magazine. It’s a pure celebration of you as a couple. All the things you do together, the places and things that make your heart sing, and creating a keepsake for all the memories you have tied to something. It can be comfy and easy. Step 1 is saying yes to a no-brainer location and vibe.

Cari + Robert, I adore your outlook on life. How you view life and your wedding as something to be enjoyed.

Drink a beer.

Catch a golden sunset.

Start a campfire.

Get the dress dirty.

Ride a sandrail.

Forget your bouquet (oops).

Cry at the ceremony.

Sleep in an RV.

Y’all are amazing, and I’ll forever be inspired by how chill and absolutely fun your wedding was. You are so perfect for each other and I can’t wait to watch your relationship grow. Much love

I love this idea! I am currently planning my wedding out in a ocotillo and am wondering if there’s any way I can chat with this couple or ask them a few questions in regards to permits or regulations?
