Remember Breea and Joey from their epic adventurous sand dunes engagement shoot? Yeah, well here’s their incredible desert wedding! Although they had to change venues last minute (I mean their venue canceled on them 😳a week😳 before their wedding!!!), Joey was actually happier to get married at the gorgeous Boulders Golf Resort & Spa. I was too, cuz it’s freaking stunning!
It definitely worked out that they got married here instead, because it holds a special place in their hearts! The venue is only 10 mins away from their house, and this resort is where Joey learned how to play golf! His groomsmen were also quite stoked about it.
I arrived right before the first look and stayed until after their first dance to capture the most important memories of the day for them. Not only was the weather beautiful for this January day, but their ceremony and entire wedding was breathtaking. The natural landscape paired with the unique design of the resort made it feel like our own little sanctuary. And this girl loves the desert, so I was in my happy place being surrounded by such huge saguaro cacti! When the emotional ceremony ended, God blessed us with an incredible sunset to end the evening. All I want now is to shoot more Arizona weddings!
