Tessera + Aaron met during the first 3 weeks of college. Aaron walked confidently up to Tessera to be “the first guy to talk to her” at a beach volleyball game, and the rest is history. They’re getting married this fall!

I met them both when they first started dating, but our friendship blossomed last fall when they won a giveaway photoshoot with me! They were instantly down for anything and no wake up call was too early to adventure someplace new out in the California nature.

When they told me they wouldn’t dream of having anyone else shoot their wedding/engagement, I could not be more giddy! We carpooled, adventured, camped, and romanced at John Muir’s muse.

After talking & laughing (and arguing about which Marvel characters are better) for 10 hours in the car (we took a lot of detours), we arrived upon Yosemite. First we went above the valley to capture the EPIC sunset. Aaron overcame his fear of heights and was down to stand on the edge (I didn’t make him, I swear!). So proud!

The rest of the weekend consisted of much-needed french fries (w/ ranch of course), hammock naps, and exploring the beautiful meadows of the Valley.
