Sara and John are high school sweethearts who tied the knot 9 years later. They’ve been through every phase of life together so far and have chosen each other every single time. They’ve grown together and became the people they are now, together. They are so excited to share more memories and continue to grow in the same direction for the rest of their lives.
During the best man speech, he remarked that Sara and John have been together so long, it’s like the wedding isn’t really changing much. Everyone got teary-eyed because it’s true. They are already living their lives with the other, they make decisions together, and their love is as strong on Tuesday as it is on Friday night. And that’s simply beautiful to me.
The wedding day had so many sentimental moments: they wrote letters to each other to read as they got ready, Sara and her mom recreated her mother’s wedding photos, Sara designed every single sign there (she’s a graphic designer and it shows!!!), and they said personal vows at the ceremony.
Here’s the story of her vintage boho dress… Sara had this dress on her heart since she was 16 years old. BHLDN discontinued it, but by perfect coincidence, they brought it back for the dress’ 10 year anniversary — just in time for Sara to buy it. She drove up to the only store that had it left in stock, and bought it. This dress was made for her and she wore it so beautifully. What a perfect way to celebrate her and John’s long lasting love with a dress she’s loved for just as long!
