Can we just gush for a second over Vivian and Westin for a minute? Their joy is absolutely contagious! They met through a mutual friend, BUT they were both in different relationships.

A couple years later, they met again at that same friend’s birthday dinner. They had their first actual conversation and clicked instantly! The timing was perfect.

He asked her out on a date and they planned it for Friday BUT they couldn’t wait that long and ended up going on a “pre-date” the day before. They couldn’t get enough of each other. A month later, they became official during a hike at the cliffs in Palos Verdes. He knew that I love a scenic view.

This year pre-Corona, his sister got married and they planned the proposal during the bouquet toss!!!

They’re goofy and fun, and love being lazy together. Who doesn’t, right?! She’s getting her Education Masters at UCI, and he plays local baseball and basketball. They both love hiking and the outdoors, so doing their engagement photos out in nature only made sense! That’s why they chose Lake Cuyamaca.

They had such great ideas for what they wanted to incorporate into their photos, and I’m glad they did! They even fulfilled my photographer dreams and we played with a teal smoke bomb!!! They nailed it!

Tip for couples taking their pics:

Wear outfits that catch movement — long dresses and hair flowing in the wind are what Vivian chose, and it SLAYED. Anything that is comfy and can provide movement and fun makes your photos even more stunning!!!

Also, incorporate things about you — your shoes, the location, anything you want!

Bring a fun prop! In this case, epic smoke bombs will do. SCROLL DOWN to see!!!

I can’t wait for their wedding and more of this party and laughter!
