It was perfect timing how I met these two.
I was planning a road trip to Arizona and Utah in a few weeks, and Vamshi and Shravani emailed me. They’re two lovers from Seattle who wanted to get their engagement photos taken at one of the most beautiful places in the world: Antelope Canyon.
They flew down from Seattle, and I told them I was already going to be in the area, so it worked out perfectly! But don’t get it twisted: I will ALWAYS 100% travel here for even an hour shoot because omg… just look at this place. In fact, I LOVE traveling for shoots and weddings, so if you’re not in SD, still hit me up. I’m always down to travel anywhere in the world for ya. Shameless plug here!
These guys met in college on the east coast and have found their love in the desert, but they built their lives together in the rainy city. Coming to the desert in the winter was still pretty chilly though, and they handled it like champs! Snow ain’t got nothing on us.
We had such a blast hiking and exploring through the canyons. Every two seconds we were yelling “WOW.” Every corner you turn gets more and more impressive. Each time I come here, it never gets old!
I also pointed them to Horseshoe Bend, which was only a few minutes away from the canyon, so we could easily finish off the photo session with some sunset captures overlooking one of the most breathtaking canyons in Arizona (and yes, I think it’s almost as cool as the Grand Canyon… I can feel your doubt penetrating the screen lol).
My favorite kinds of engagement sessions are the ones where we explore and go on an epic all-day adventure and take romantic and candid images along the way — just like this one! It’s way more fun to go to a bunch of diverse areas and getting the most out of it, and I’m always ready and prepped to share ideas with my couples. More adventures, please!
