As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen a lot of florals, and I’ve worked with a LOT of florists. Flowers are my favorite thing ever (if I weren’t a photographer, I’d probably be a florist), so I wanted to share some of my favorite San Diego and Southern California florists perfect for your wedding!
And since happy, natural, modern, and bright flowers make me so happy, I’ll focus on florists that KILL this look. Some of them are more neutral with their colors, like dried bouquets or desert blooms, and others are incredible with really lush and colorful bouquets.
They’re also people I know or have worked with before, so I can speak to their kindness and professionalism!
Britney is also a coordinator, so she really does it all! She created a unique backdrop for this wedding at Pine Hill in Julian (one of my fave venues). This arch-alternative features bougainvillea, pampas, geodes, crystals, and sunflowers! Talk about unique!
This wedding was featured in Bridal Musings
The texture and wispy-ness of this bouquet really has me wanting a fairy tale romantic wedding! Perfect for cottagecore brides with a boho romance twist! I couldn’t be more in love!
When I say Bethany can do anything, I mean she can do ANYTHING. I asked her to make the biggest bouquet possible, and she delivered with a huge smile on her face. She goes above and beyond, really making sure your vision comes to life. She’s a gem of a human and an incredible florist!
Molly is one of the nicest humans ever. She created 3 different “looks” for our annual “I Do Redo” event for married couples, and completely slayed it! I love her use of color — the pinks, ugh!!!
Ugh. Just ugh. I have no words for how much I’m in love with their colors and style. I worked with them for a shoot a few years ago, and I’ll continue to be in awe of them!
If you’re looking for neutral, earthy, boho, natural, but still a dash of color, look no further. Wild and loose blooms are her specialty!
Tropical paradise dream! Such unique leaves and plants to really make these blooms pop! and I’m a sucker for a good flower crown and a beautiful backyard wedding. These florals were created by the in-house florist of one of my favorite coordination teams!
Even though these amazing florals were done by the bride’s friend (who sadly lives in Reno now), I wanted to include them for your inspiration! I’m loving the trend to add succulents to bouquets for a sustainable and reusable bouquet! They’re perfect for spanish-style weddings, like this one at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe in Vista, CA.
I am a fan of the simple, and this arch really has my heart beating!!! The colors and style look perfect with the backdrop of the ocean at this Sunset Cliffs intimate wedding! You can contact her here: 619-647-1441
Thank you to these florists for providing such gorgeous flowers for these couples. They’re lucky to have you! To future couples, reach out to these folks; you won’t be disappointed!
