Epic Cliffside and Jungle Elopement on Maui, Hawaii

This dress. This location. This love.

When I say that I wish I could shoot in Hawaii EVERY DAY, I mean it. Exploring favorite locations to find best angles and lighting, and discovering new places… my heart thirsts for it!

Nature is amazing, and capturing two people in love (& choosing to get MARRIED) in an epic natural setting is a joy of my life.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity that couples give me— they trust me with their important moments in life, they want to travel with me, and they are down to try new things and live adventurously, even for just a photo shoot, wedding, or elopement. It’s my goal to support them, guide them through it, and capture them feeling like themselves in a candid, natural way. All so they can look back at their photos and remember how incredible they felt in the moment.

Pele + Codie are Maui locals! They’re both such kind, joyful spirits. Photographing and getting to know them was a treasure! We started on a secret part of the island overlooking Kaho‘olawe island in the distance. The cliffside we found was breathtaking, with 180º views of the Pacific ocean.

They already got married, so we took couples photos for them! The way they look at each other, how Pele laughs at everything, and how they both bring the drama and model vibes… it’s a dream really haha!

I love Pele’s boho gown and fun hat! It really gave off that boho beach babe look I know so many of us love (myself included).

After the cliff, we met north on the island in a rainforest/jungle! Pele and I took off our shoes (because duh, it’s Hawai’i) and there aren’t any snakes here for me to be afraid of haha! The way the afternoon light shone through the tree canopy was awe-inspiring. The lush greenery lining the forest floor and vines hanging off the trees made the whole thing perfect.
