One of my favorite parts about couples and engagement sessions are the long car rides with my couples. I know that might sound super weird, and maybe a little uncomfortable, but honestly, it’s the best!
The Colorado storm like clockwork started 10 minutes before the ceremony, and ended right in time to wipe down the chairs and still start the ceremony on time. The rain left beautiful, dramatic clouds and a few rainbows. The rain was quite a blessing. It left the air nice and cool and made taking photos ridiculously beautiful.
Weddings are supposed to be the one of the most exciting, magical, and happiest days of our lives. However, for many couples, this isn’t the case. I’ve heard dozens of stories of weather-cancelations, ugly photos, vendor mess-ups, low budgets, or general mishaps that make their wedding day not turn out as planned.
Up in the Bavarian Alps, there’s a little 50s-style cable car that takes you to the top of a mountain, overlooking valleys and the rest of the German Alps (oh, and a casual castle down below).
When Veronica slipped on her dress, her daughter places her shoes on her feet. They share a beautiful moment together before walking down the aisle. Scott’s face holds back tears when he sees his bride for the first time that day.
Want to take your adventure engagement session to the next level? I’m always down to take pics of you doing what you love— whether that’s rock climbing, car camping, or just watching from the sidelines.
